The Sixth International Conference of the Association of Eurasian Central Securities Depositories (AECSD) “Common Depository Space - Effective Interaction of AECSD Participants” will be held in Tashkent (Republic of Uzbekistan) on October 15-16, 2009. The Conference is organized by the State Enterprise "Central securities depository" (UzCSD).

The following topics will be covered on October 15, 2009:

1. The role of depository in the issuer's corporate actions (reports of representatives of AECSD member countries and other organizations);
2. Record-keeping of rights for securities: from depository to custodian (reports of representatives of AECSD member countries and other organizations);
3. Regional markets during the crisis period: does the crisis generate ideas or obstacles? (Panel discussion)

The Annual General Meeting of AECSD members will be held on October 16, 2009. During the Meeting it is planned to consider and approve reports on activities of the Association and working groups as well as to outline plans for 2010.
