June 3-5, 2026, AECSD Annual Training Seminar was held in Dushanbe, Tajikistan. The event was organized by «CENTRAL DEPOSITORY» CJSC (the central depository of Tajikistan).

At the seminar, AECSD member depositories annually exchange experiences, improve their knowledge of other countries' accounting system models, and coordinate joint efforts to develop and integrate financial markets. A total of 26 reports were presented at the seminar on topics relevant to the depository sector: risk management, new security challenges, technological transformation, corporate actions, and trilateral services. Participants also shared the results of their activities in 2025 and plans for the near future.

More than 50 delegates from nine countries participated. The AECSD participants plan to maintain constructive and regular communication between central depositories, develop common initiatives, and share expertise. Participants' priorities remain the development of innovation, strengthening financial stability, and enhancing operational reliability.
