Dear Esteemed Members of AECSD;

It is a privilege to address you at this important moment for our Association. During the recent Forum and Extraordinary General Meeting in Moscow, we collectively endorsed a series of forward-looking measures like establishing an AECSD Board of Directors and modernizing our web-and-media policy. These decisions signal a new phase of institutional maturity, positioning AECSD to speak with a stronger, united voice on the global stage.

Our direction is clear: deeper cross-regional cooperation, faster knowledge exchange, and accelerated digital innovation. The İstanbul “Bridging Markets, Bridging Continents” Summit we held with AMEDA last year proved that when we bridge geographies, we multiply opportunities.

I am delighted to confirm that MKK is planning to host another landmark global summit in İstanbul in April 2026, held jointly with the Asia-Pacific CSD Group (ACG). This event will not only gather our Eurasian community but will also incorporate ACG’s Members’ General Meeting, creating an unprecedented platform that links Eurasia and the Asia-Pacific under one roof. Together we will explore new joint initiatives in depository and financial technology solutions to diversify our product offerings, cross-listing pathways to attract more foreign capital to our regional markets, and share insights on applications of new technologies in our industry. 

As always, the Secretariat and I stand ready to support any initiative that advances our shared mission of secure, efficient, and inclusive capital markets. Following the convening of the World Forum of CSDs (WFC) in Almaty, I now assume the WFC Chairmanship alongside AECSD. In this capacity, I will work to strengthen global cooperation, maintain open and direct dialogue across regions, and ensure that our community speaks with a united and influential voice internationally. I am confident that, together, we can further elevate our collective contribution to the global financial ecosystem.
